Dana Commercial Group at Prudential Douglas Elliman sell/lease 1086 Madison Avenue

Gary and Rick Dana, executive VPs of The Dana Commercial Group at Prudential Douglas Elliman, along with Adam Kramer, also of The Dana Commercial Group, have helped to arrange a sale of a 500 s/f store at 1086 Madison Ave. to ESL Realty Holdings for $1.7 million. The seller was represented by Faith Consolo, also of Prudential Douglas Elliman. The second part of the deal was the leasing of the store for a seven-year lease with a fashion handbag company. In this deal, Dana represented the new landlord, while Consolo represented the tenant. Prudential Douglas Elliman Commercial Group, led by Gary and Rick Dana and a team of 15 commercial experts, are specialists in retail, office and medical leasing, investment sales, co-op and condominium retail sales, as well as the sale of professional space, hotels, and buildings. The Dana Group was Prudential's Number Two commercial team in the United States for gross commission income. The history of the Dana Commercial Group began in 1954 when Douglas Elliman hired Nick Dana to head a new commercial department. Gary Dana joined him in 1978, with Rick Dana following in 1981. Over the years, the Dana's have leased stores to such prominent retailers as Yves St Laurent, Valentino, Missoni, Coach, Krizia, Cartier, and dozens of others; and recently two locations to Michael Kors.
