Fishkill, NY The Dagar Group Ltd. has completed three leases totaling 13,100 s/f at the Fishkill Plaza, 738 Rte. 9.  According to David Livshin, president/CEO of Dagar, the three new tenants include Bonsai III Japanese Restaurant which occupies 2,000 s/f.  This is the third location for the chain with the other two locations along Rte. 9 in Poughkeepsie.  Bonsai performed a full renovation of the space including new walls, flooring, furnishings and lighting. The blue lighting sets off the walls which are decorated with seashells.

Dutchess Nail & Spa opened in a 3,400 s/f space.  This is the second location for the group with their first on Rte. 9 in Hyde Park.  Dutchess Nail renovated two existing spaces which had been previously occupied by another salon for over 30 years.  The renovation included new floors, walls and a modernization of the entire space with new equipment to serve their customers.

A Kids Place has leased a 7,700 s/f location for a children’s learning center.  The company has been established in the Hudson Valley for nearly 20 years and is moving to the new Fishkill location from Beacon.  The space which was formerly a performing arts center has high ceilings, large windows and a fenced outdoor play area which made it an ideal choice for the tenant’s relocation. A Kids Place will open this month.

Fishkill Plaza is a 126,000 s/f shopping center anchored by a ShopRite Supermarket and includes Pets Supplies Plus, Key Bank, Dollar Tree, Hallmark Cards, H&R Block, Whistling Willie’s American Grill, Plaza Cleaners, Jade China, A Cat’s Place and other stores and restaurants.

The Dagar Group Ltd. has been the exclusive leasing and managing agent for Fishkill Plaza since 1991. The property is owned by the development group Fishkill Plaza Partners, LP.
