Cushman & Wakefield arranges lease for Total E&P in Rio de Janeiro
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil According to Cushman & Wakefield, one of the world's largest privately-held commercial real estate services firms, Total E&P has signed a lease contract. The French oil exploration and production company was last year's auction winner of Campo de Libra, one of the largest oil reserves in Brazil, and will occupy more than 1,000 sq. meters of the Rio Metropolitan Building. The property belongs to Previ - Fund of Employees of Banco do Brasil, the largest pension fund in Latin America.
"Brazil has been one of the most attractive destinations for French companies, especially in the oil and gas industry," said Thierry Botto, general manager of Agency Leasing at Cushman & Wakefield.
