CREWNY holds UCREW University Outreach event

Manhattan, NY CREWNY held its first UCREW University Outreach event at at Trepp’s Rockefeller Center offices. The event was attended by 25 students from institutions of higher learning interested in diverse career opportunities in commercial real estate.

The event was organized by the CREWNY Foundation Committee led by Katherine DeMercurio of EverGreene Architectural Arts, and hosted by CREWNY gold sponsor Trepp.

The panel consisted of CREWNY members Wendy Berger of Cole Schotz, (real estate law); Maria Elefante of Arbor Realty Trust (finance); Kenne Shepherd of Kenne Shepherd Interior Design Architecture (interior design); Wendy Rossi of Akerman (project management); and Kasey Pace of Zubatkin Owner Representation (construction). Erin Timko of Trepp served as moderator.

The panelists focused on practical advice on how to jumpstart a career and networking strategies. A Speed Networking Hour to learn about each discipline was also held with additional CREWNY members Annemarie DiCola of Trepp (data & technology);and Shannon Bahnsen of Mavrides, Moyal, Packman & Sadkin (real estate law).
