CREW New York awards its Star of the Year Award for 2017 to Kucharski of Shawmut Design and Construction

New York, NY CREW New York has awarded its Star of the Year Award for 2017 to Kathryn Kucharski, marketing manager at Shawmut Design and Construction

The award is presented annually to a CREW New York member who epitomizes empowerment and leadership and ignites enthusiasm in others with her commitment and contributions to CREW New York’s mission and goals. 

Kucharski has been involved with CREW New York since 2013 and served on the communications committee in 2016-17 as vice chair. At Shawmut Design and Construction, Kucharski oversees all marketing activities for academic, cultural and historic, healthcare and life sciences and tenant interiors clients in the New York region including proposals, public relations, communications, photography, client services and event planning.

CREW New York is dedicated to the advancement of women in commercial real estate through networking, education and leadership development. Membership, drawn from all levels of experience in virtually every discipline in the industry, provides a lively, non-competitive environment of provocative interaction, exchanges of information, business referrals and professional and personal growth.
