Consolo, Aquino and Maglio of Douglas Elliman awarded exclusive agency for 211 East Broadway

The leasing and sales team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, and Arthur Maglio of Douglas Elliman's retail group has been awarded the exclusive agency for 221 East Broadway. Located on the southeast corner of Clinton St., the building is in the heart of a dynamic neighborhood known for its nightlife, great restaurants and shopping, and also close to the Bowery and Chinatown. "This is the heyday of the Lower East Side, home to affluent hipsters and artists," said Consolo. "There is so much energy and diversity down here that fashion to food will be perfect for these stores." Maglio said, "Not only is the area booming with tremendous retail and restaurants, it is the next hub for residential development, including Extell's plans for a 70-story tower on Cherry Street. Clearly, there is a built-in customer base for any tenant leasing at the building that is going to grow exponentially." The agency includes seven stores with 4,000 s/f of space. Current tenant in the corner space is The Eastwood Bar.
