Consolo and Aquino of Prudential Douglas Elliman to host brokers bash

The retail leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive VP of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing and Sales Division, are planning a "brokers-only" bash on October 16th from 6 - 8 p.m. at its new exclusive agency, 622 Third Ave., 22,000 s/f a fully-built restaurant space located in a free-standing building on the orner of Third Ave. and 40th St. The exclusive agency is part of a portfolio of retail spaces in six class A properties awarded to Consolo and Aquino by Cohen Brothers Realty Corp. The event will be highlighted by cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a raffle of a flat screen television and presentation tours of the space. The restaurant comprises 6,000 s/f at ground level, 3,000 s/f at the second level and 13,000 s/f of selling basement with fully-equipped catering kitchen. Other attributes include the private dining rooms and two bars, private elevator, 45-ft. ceiling heights and wine tower. Formerly the site of Wild Salmon, this site benefits from 150 linear feet of corner, double height frontage stretching along Third Ave. and East 40th St. It is close to the W Court Hotel on East 39th St. and Randy Gerber's WETBAR. Other nearby hotels include Grand Hyatt, The Kitano and N.Y, Helmsley Hotel. The mixed-use location, with its office, residential and tourist base, ensures the property benefits from a seven-days-a-week presence and constant flow of pedestrian traffic. "We are putting a truly amazing space on display to the brokerage community with all the hoopla and fanfare it deserves," said Consolo. "It's an expansive, dramatic and architecturally distinctive restaurant space and the perfect venue for N.Y.'s next culinary legend." Aquino said, "Luxury improvements already may top $6 million, while extensive frontage on two main thoroughfares and the draw of one of the world's choicest dining and tourist destinations make it a recipe for success." 622 Third Ave. is in dining central, with Dock's Oyster House and Seafood Grill anchoring the opposite corner. The site is also close to Capital Grille, Oyster Bar & Grill, The Palms I & II and California-based Mexican chain Sinigual.
