Ciminelli Real Estate Corp. added 850,000 s/f of commercial space to their 11 million s/f management portfolio. Ciminelli was contracted by global management firm Cassidy Turley to manage a portion of the real estate portfolio overseen by REIT Management & Research LLC (RMR). RMR is a private company that asset manages over 140 million s/f of commercial real estate across the U.S, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Australia.
The new facilities under Ciminelli's management since October 1 include 9 properties across NYS and 2 in PA. The Buffalo real estate includes 42 and 130/138 Delaware Ave., which total 170,000 s/f.
Ciminelli responded to a comprehensive request for proposals issued by RMR earlier this year, and was the only regional property management firm selected to continue through the entire RFP process. Cassidy Turley was awarded the national contract, and the New York and Pennsylvania properties were immediately subcontracted to Ciminelli because of its strong presence in those areas and its exceptional reputation for customer service.
"The addition of the properties to our portfolio was seamless," said Chris Keenan, Vice President of Property Management at Ciminelli. "A significant number of properties in the RMR portfolio overlap with the Ciminelli service footprint. This helps our team to deliver service at a very high level from day one. We're thrilled to be part of the RMR/Cassidy Turley team."
