Cignature Realty closes two deals in Manhattan totaling $10.8 million; Vanderpool collaborates with Teichman in $5.8 million sale

Manhattan, NY Cignature Realty has closed the following transactions:

• A $5.8 million sale of a five-story multifamily walk-up building with 10 residential apartments and two retail stores in Manhattan Valley. The 9,105 s/f building, at 926 Amsterdam Ave., between West 105th and West 106th Sts. The 1925 building houses the Latino Express Travel and Sammy’s Barber Shop on the street level. Cignature’s Elan Teichman represented the seller, the Orbach Group LLC and Peter Vanderpool represented the buyer, 926 Realty.

• A $5 million sale of a five-story corner multifamily walk-up building with 12 apartments and one store in East Harlem. The 11,355 s/f building at 1675 Lexington Ave., was built in 1930. Cignature’s Peter Vanderpool represented the buyer, a local private investor and Christopher Skitch represented the seller, 153 Realty Corp. The deal closed on Dec. 6th, 2017.
