CB Richard Ellis secures 17,156 s/f lease renewal at One Rockefeller Plaza

According to CB Richard Ellis, the firm recently arranged a 17,156 s/f lease at One Rockefeller Plaza on behalf of the consulate general of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which renewed its space on the 11th floor for 10 years. Tishman Speyer is the landlord. "The consulate's existing lease was set to expire, and the landlord offered them good terms to renew, reflecting their credit worthiness as a tenant," said Matthew McBride, senior vice president, CBRE, who noted that consulates and missions have now become more sought-after by landlords. "This lease is also a good example of foreign faith in the importance of continuing to be in the Manhattan market." The consulate has occupied its space at One Rockefeller Center since 1993. Tishman Speyer was represented internally.
