C&W | Pyramid Brokerage names Petrie as COO

Latham, NY Cushman & Wakefield | Pyramid Brokerage Company has named Jim Petrie chief operating officer. Petrie succeeds Robert Berkey who has held the position for 25 years and will remain with Pyramid in an advisory role.

A graduate of Loyola University, Petrie is a lifelong resident of Central New York and has held several leadership positions in the insurance, data/technology and financial services industries. The skills he brings to Pyramid include improving operational efficiency and leading collaborative efforts to achieve organizational goals. Petrie cited Pyramid Brokerage’s outstanding reputation in the community as one of the reasons for accepting the position.

Berkey praised Petrie for his leadership and people skills adding that his diverse background will bring new opportunities for the company.

Berkey said  “all of us at Pyramid are excited to have Jim on board.”
