Burack and Gedinsky of Winick Realty Group lease 6,500 s/f to Shadow Box Gym

Shadow Box Gym, a new boxing gym concept offering group classes, has signed a lease for its first location at 28 West 20th St., located between Fifth and Sixth Aves. in the Flatiron District. Winick Realty Group's Ross Burack and Kelly Gedinsky represented landlord Pan Asia Estate in the lease transaction, while Ross Berkowitz and Ernie Getz of RKF represented Shadow Box Gym. Shadow Box Gym, which will occupy 6,500 s/f when they open in the first half of this year, is the latest fitness tenant to lease space in Flatiron, where the craze has truly taken off. Soul Cycle, Equinox and Barry's Bootcamp all operate spaces in the immediate area, as well as The Fhitting Room, to whom Gedinsky and Burack leased the adjoining space at 31 West 19th St. "Demand for boutique gyms in the Flatiron District has been consistently strong and continues to grow," said Burack. "Shadow Box Gym is keeping up with that trend and we expect them to do very well in this location."
