Buckingham Properties begins expansion for Badger Technologies

According to Buckingham Properties LLC, construction has started on an expansion of Badger Technologies' manufacturing facility at 5829 County Road 41. Badger recently signed a long-term lease for 33,000 s/f nearly doubling their presence in the expanding facility. The project includes a 16,600 s/f addition and renovations to the rest of the Badger space in the facility. The expansion will bring new jobs to the facility. "Expanding the facility will create more jobs in the community," said Togo DeBellis, CEO and president of Badger. "Our expansion demonstrates an increase in work which in turn provides job growth. This is not only good for Badger but good for the area. We are proud that Buckingham has chosen to work with us to develop our manufacturing capacity. We look forward to occupying this new building and expanding our presence in Farmington." "We are pleased to have been able to bring this deal together with coordinated efforts of our development, construction and leasing teams," said Ken Glazer, project development manager at Buckingham. "The new building lease and construction fosters the collaborative spirit of Badger and Buckingham and our commitment to working with all of our tenants to help them facilitate productivity and profitability of their business. This latest development by Buckingham Properties continues the company's recent trend of successful build-to-suit projects in Upstate New York.
