Bovis Lend Lease upstate N.Y. secure $150m in K-12 projects

Bovis Lend Lease's upstate New York operations have been awarded construction management roles for more than $150 million in K-12 education projects this year. Bovis was selected by the following school districts: Bath, Camden, Cortland, Hammondsport, Homer, Liverpool, Oneida, Richfield Springs and South Seneca. Most of these K-12 projects are EXCEL-aided projects with NYS contributing a larger percentage of the local share dollars as districts commence a capital project. Most projects include expansions and technology upgrades to existing facilities, buildings, and systems. Some projects do however include additions and new structures. "We are very pleased to have been selected by these new and continuing clients," said Mark Balling, Bovis Lend Lease principal-in-charge for upstate New York. "We are returning to do work at Hammondsport, Homer, Liverpool, and Camden schools. We are eager to demonstrate to Bath, Cortland, South Seneca, Oneida, and Richfield Springs schools why we have an 85% repeat client base. Since 1986, we have enjoyed providing high-quality outcomes for all our clients." Bovis Lend Lease was also recently selected as construction manager for the new $6 million Community Center for the town of Malta as well as Warsaw Central School and Livingston County building no. 1 renovation in WNY.
