Bledsoe, Junkin and Makris of Marcus & Millichap broker sale of 47,325 s/f Big Blue Self Storage

Frankfort, NY Marcus & Millichap negotiated the sale of Big Blue Self Storage, a 47,325 s/f self-storage, for an undisclosed price.

Kevin Bledsoe, Matthew Junkin and Andreas Makris had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company, in addition to procuring the buyer, Moove In Self Storage. John Horowitz assisted in the sale as New York broker of record. The property went under contract within one month.

“I have been friends with the owners of the facility for seven years,” said Bledsoe. “When they approached our team about selling Big Blue Self Storage, we were excited to work with them and grateful for their trust in us to handle the sale of their investment.”

“Selling commercial real estate is usually less personal than selling a home, but the owners put a lot of effort into improving these properties,” he added. “The sale of these facilities has been a long journey for the owners, and we are pleased to have found the perfect buying group to help them achieve their investment goals.”

Big Blue Self Storage is located at 111 Dyke Rd. The property was built in 2009 and features drive up self-storage, interior units, a contractor space and outdoor parking, in addition to future expansion potential.
