Bestreich Realty Group brokers sale of 4,875 s/f property – $1.55 million

Brooklyn, NY Bestreich Realty Group (BRG) closed the sale of 996 Putnam Ave. in Bed-Stuy for $1.55 million. 

The property is built 25 ft. x 65 ft., offering 4,875 s/f. It sits on a 25.5 ft. x 100 ft. lot and is zoned R6B. It features six railroad apartments, of which three apartments will be delivered vacant. The property is located within walking distance to the J, Z, A, and C subway lines, offering access to Manhattan. 

Derek Bestreich, Steve Reynolds, Tom Reynolds, and Brian Davila facilitated both sides of the transactions for 996 Putnam LLC and 996 Putnam Avenue Corp.

It is a few blocks from an array of strong retail along Broadway and is within walking distance to all the amenities of new bars, restaurants, cafes, and artisan shops that Bed-Stuy offers. The subject offering provides a new owner with the opportunity to acquire a well-maintained building in a rapidly growing and sought-after neighborhood.
