Bertwood Realty reps LoveShackFancy in 3,100 s/f lease; Novoa of ABSRE acts for landord, Onbar LLC

Manhattan, NY Bertwood Realty completed the signing of a 3,100 s/f, five-year lease for LoveShackFancy at 210 Eleventh Ave. (at 25th St.).

According to Bertrand de Soultrait, president of Bertwood Realty, “This area of midtown has transformed into a high-fashion office location. We found the perfect size on the eleventh floor, #1104, the penthouse, next to Stella McCartney’s offices.”

Bertwood Realty represented the tenant on this transaction, working directly with LoveShackFancy’s founder and creative director, Rebecca Cohen. Onbar LLC is the landlord and was represented by Audrey Novoa at ABSRE.

LoveShackFancy was previously at at 433 West 14th, but the landlord sold the building.

Former senior fashion and beauty editor of Cosmo, Rebecca Hessel Cohen, created LoveShackFancy in 2013, to offer the perfect travel wardrobe, effortless pieces women can wear from day to night, city to beach. The brand was embraced by Gwyneth Paltrow, J Lo, and Chrissy Tiegen. Demand grew fast and LoveShackFancy is already in over 50 world-wide specialty retailers including Barneys, Saks and Neimans.

“The penthouse space has great water views,” said de Soultrait. “LSF has tripled in size and we were able to find them something that works today as well as accommodates growth.”
