BC Surf & Sport leases 7,700 s/f on Destiny USA's first level

BC Surf & Sport opened on August 15th on the first level of Destiny USA, located at 9090 Destiny USA Dr. The store takes up 7,700 s/f near Eastern Mountain Sports under the food court. Central New York isn't known for its surfing, but BC Surf & Sport offers a large variety of items beyond surfboards, such as skateboards, snowboards, clothing, footwear, accessories, and more. BC Surf & Sport began in 1977 with a small store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and now has more than a dozen stores across the United States. The action sports shop is owned and operated by surfers, skateboarders and snowboarders who have a passion about board sports. "We love to introduce new brands that have a true devotion to the products they sell," said Sara Wallace, director of marketing of Destiny USA. "The owners of BC Surf & Sport are dedicated to bringing in the top merchandise and providing friendly and knowledgeable service." "Since opening our first store in 1977, BC Surf & Sport has grown to be one of the top U.S. retailers in the surf, snowboard, and skate industries," said Bruce Cromartie, president of BC Surf & Sport. "With a huge selection, great prices, and the best in customer service, BC plans to have a home in Syracuse for years to come. We are excited about opening our first location in the Northeast at Destiny USA." The closest BC Surf & Sport location to Destiny USA is in Atlanta, Georgia. BC Surf & Sport is located on the first level of Destiny USA under the Food Court.
