New Hyde Park, NY Pliskin Realty & Development, a prominent N.Y.-Metropolitan area retail real estate brokerage, property management and investment firm, brokered a 20-year lease for an 11,250 s/f space to be occupied by a Foodtown supermarket. The new Foodtown will be located at 2046 Lakeville Rd., a location formerly occupied by a food and vegetable store. Foodtown is planning a major renovation of the space. The projected occupancy date by the supermarket is early 2015. Pliskin president and CEO Jeffrey Pliskin, executive vice president Marvin Hartman, sales associate Christopher Wierzbicki and senior associate Brad Barish all participated in brokering the transaction, representing both the tenant, Foodtown and the landlord, Home Base Realty.
