Antebi and Landau of GFI sell Prospect Heights walk-up building for $1.08 million

GFI Realty Services Inc., has arranged the sale of 874 Bergen St., a listing in the Prospect Heights section, for $1.08 million which translates to eight times the rent roll. This four-story walk-up apartment building consists of eight, two-bedroom apartments totaling 4,400 s/f. Shlomo Antebi and Joseph Landau of GFI Realty Services, Inc. represented the seller, Bergen Estates LLC. Antebi also represented the buyer, a local investor. "The building was delivered with only one vacant unit. The buyer has plans for major capital improvements and will maintain it as a long term investment property," said Antebi. "He is very excited about owning another multi-family apartment building in Prospect Heights, a neighborhood that is continuously upgrading." "The seller was very pleased that GFI Realty Services was able to arrange such a seamless, all-cash transaction," said Landau. This multifamily apartment building was built in 1930 and is located near the Grand Army Plaza, the Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park and Botanic Gardens.
