Anderson named a director and assistant portfolio manager at Clarion Partners

New York, NY Clarion Partners, LLC, a leading real estate investment manager, today announced that Evans Anderson has joined the firm as a director.  Based in New York, Anderson will be the assistant portfolio manager for Clarion’s multifamily sector fund, a core-plus open-end fund built on the operating and development capabilities of Gables Residential. Anderson brings nearly 12 years of experience in the private equity real estate sector to Clarion Partners, including positions in acquisitions, asset management and business development.  Immediately before joining Clarion, he was co-head of investor relations at Jamestown.  Prior to his work at Jamestown, Anderson held positions of increasing responsibility at GE Capital Real Estate and Colony Capital. “Evans brings a distinguished track record of achievement in multiple aspects of real estate investment management to our organization,” said Ed Carey, managing director and portfolio manager.  “We are delighted that he has joined Clarion Partners.” Anderson received a Bachelor of Science in Management from Villanova University and earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
