Allran Electric Certified as minority business enterprise

Sal Rusi, president of Allran Electric of New York LLC, said, "Allran Electric of New York, LLC was recently awarded certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by The New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc." This certification recognizes Allran Electric of New York LLC (Allran Electric) as minority-owned and operated. Allran Electric also possesses a highly diverse workforce which is comprised of over 25% minority employees. Allran Electric has served the New York area for over 30 years, providing a wide range of electrical service for many of New York's most prestigious buildings and institutions, including full-service electrical installation, maintenance, telecommunication and data services. The firm's portfolio is comprised of construction managers and general contractors as well as financial institutions, universities, medical facilities, legal, insurance and real estate corporations. Allran was recently awarded a $7 million contract by Turner Construction Co. for AOL /Time Warner at 770 Bdwy. in Manhattan, due to the firm's exemplary work at previous AOL locations. This multi-million dollar contract will continue to maintain the business relationship with Turner Construction and AOL in the electrical build-out of new office space. Allran was awarded numerous contracts for projects at the 10 Columbus Circle location.
