Alexico Group, the developer of The Laurel, presented a donation of $5,000 to The Worldwide Orphans Foundation. Dr. Jane Aronson, founder and executive medical director of the organization, accepted the gift from Jeannie Woodbrey of Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group at a small ceremony held at The Laurel, located at 400 East 67th St. The donation is a result of the Hearst "Designer Visions" show house program currently taking place at The Laurel, of which The Worldwide Orphans Foundation is the official charity sponsor.
