Albany’s Clinton Sq. is recipient of $10 million revitalization initiative award

Albany, NY Governor Andrew Cuomo revealed Clinton Sq. as a third round recipient of a $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative award. As part of the city’s application for Clinton Sq., over $280 million of investment is proposed and more than $80 million is underway in the downtown area. With the support of governor Cuomo’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative, the Capital Region Economic Development Council, downtown, and the region is poised for unprecedented success.

Through engagements with hundreds of stakeholders and several community workshops the city was successful in creating the strongest application possible for its community’s needs.
