AI Platform SceniX takes full floor at GFP’s 80 Eighth Ave. in Chelsea

Manhattan, NY GFP Real Estate said that Scenix Inc. (SceniX), a hybrid simulation platform that speeds up and strengthens robotics development and deployment, has signed a new five-year lease for 5,914 s/f of office space — the entire 17th floor — at 80 Eighth Ave. in Chelsea.

“We are excited to welcome SceniX Inc. to 80 Eighth Avenue,” said Mandell. “Their forward-thinking work in spatial computing fits well with the creative- and tech-driven community in Chelsea. We look forward to supporting their growth in a space that gives them room to innovate and thrive.”

“Following an extensive search, SceniX chose 80 Eighth Ave. because of the building’s strong fundamentals, the remarkable light throughout the floor and GFP’s flexibility in customizing the space to support our growth,” said Someck.

Built in 1929 and standing 282 ft. tall, 80 Eighth Ave. is most well known as the Banker’s Trust Company Building which has occupied the property for more than 70 years.
