Adam America Real Estate and Horizon Group's 500 Sterling is now 75% leased

According to Adam America Real Estate (AARE) and the Horizon Group, 500 Sterling, located at 500 Sterling Place in Crown Heights, is now more than 75% leased. The new seven-story, 77-unit rental property is comprised of studios, one and two-bedroom homes and features a full suite of amenities with convenient access to public transportation. "Leasing velocity at 500 Sterling is extraordinary and we are expecting momentum to continue as we head into the fall," said Brendan Aguayo, senior vice president and managing director of Halstead Property Development Marketing (HPDM), the property's exclusive marketing and leasing agent. "The impressive pace of leasing is a testament to Adam America and Horizon Group's fantastic product in a neighborhood that continues to draw new residents from other parts of Brooklyn, Manhattan and New York City as a whole." Every unit at 500 Sterling, including studios, has a washer/dryer. Premium kitchens are finished with limed oak wall cabinetry, Caesarstone countertops, limestone backsplashes and appliances by Fisher & Paykel and KitchenAid. Residents at 500 Sterling are greeted with a double-height lobby and sleek elevator bank overseen by a part-time doorman. They also enjoy convenient access to public transportation, including the 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains, which are located just three blocks south. Residents and their guests also have the ability to reserve custom 500 Sterling bicycles. A fully-amenitized rooftop includes one-of-a-kind features such as a misting wall, outdoor movie projector, lounging area and barbecuing stations. Building amenities also include a package room, private and bicycle storage, a fully equipped windowed gym, parking and live-in superintendent. Almost every unit has private outdoor space. 500 Sterling is in close proximity to a multitude of popular eateries, gourmet markets, shopping and nightlife. An array of outdoor and cultural activities, including the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Zoo and Prospect Park are within blocks of 500 Sterling. "500 Sterling is paving the way for new construction rental developments in the Crown Heights/Prospect Heights neighborhood," said Omri Sachs, co-founder of AARE, along with Dvir Cohen Hoshen. "Now that we are entering the final phase of leasing, several unit types are no longer available and limited opportunity remains."
