Richard Maltz
Chief Executive Officer
Maltz Auctions

What accomplishment, milestone, project or transaction stood out for you or your firm in 2025?

As we approach the end of 2025, amid all the commentary surrounding New York real estate, Maltz Auctions continues to excel in attracting and engaging both buyers and sellers. Just today, we proudly auctioned a stunning 3,500 s/f bayfront home in Atlantic Beach, Long Island, for an impressive $5,339,250. New York continues to offer opportunities and a cultural richness that are unparalleled.

What emerging trends or shifts will shape opportunities for you, your firm, or market sector in 2026?

We have noticed a clear desire and interest in commercial space throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties Throughout 2025, Maltz Auctions successfully listed and sold properties through robust online auctions, including ones in East Northport and Atlantic Beach. As we look towards 2026, we anticipate that the interest will continue to grow. The shift towards remote and hybrid work has increased the appeal of suburban locales. Long Island remains a prime location for investment. We are committed to guiding our clients through these opportunities.
