11-05-2013 - Langdon Title Agency to host CLE Seminar "Ethical Considerations for the Real Estate Practitioner"

Langdon Title Agency will host a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar, entitled "Ethical Considerations for the Real Estate Practitioner," on Tuesday, November 5th from 8:30 to 10:40 a.m. at Steelcase at 4 Columbus Cir. The CLE Seminar will feature a presentation by Antonio Vozza, vice president and New York State counsel, First American Title Insurance Co., and will explore the ethics of New York real estate and the new codes of professional responsibility. Discussion topics will include but are not limited to: * Conflicts of interest * Fees and division of fees * Professional independence * Broker sponsored programs * Attorney escrow accounts * Communication with land use board members Antonio Vozza serves as Vice President and New York State Counsel at First American Title Insurance Company. In this capacity, he oversees much of the firm's title insurance agents and assists them with risk evaluation and the legal aspects of clearing title on real property. Vozza received his Juris Doctor from St. John's University and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University. First American Title Insurance Company has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of continuing legal education in the State of New York. Attending the program will qualify attorneys with two Ethics CLE Credits or transitional credit for newly admitted attorneys.
