Huntsman Architectural Group hires Pozderac as technical director | sr. architect

Manhattan, NY Huntsman Architectural Group has hired Damir Pozderac as technical director | senior architect. Based in the firm’s New York City office, Pozderac will support projects nationally across the firm’s three offices. 

As technical director | senior architect, Pozderac’s expertise reinforces the firm’s ongoing commitment to harness evolving tools and technologies to address increasing client demand for accelerated project delivery. 

“Damir has an exacting design eye as well as proven experience with highly technical solutions,” said Sandra Tripp, a principal at Huntsman Architectural Group and managing director of the firm’s New York City office. “He has worked on many projects in NYC and nationally, solving complex challenges such as code compliance and sophisticated detailing, all while maximizing value for clients.”

Pozderac, AIA, has over 20 years of professional experience with a focus in New York City. His previous roles include associate principal at Unispace and project manager at firms such as TPG Architecture, Gensler and Howell Belanger Castelli Architects. Pozderac earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture from The University of Texas at Arlington. In addition, he is one of the founders and executive director of The Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival (BHFF), an annual event in New York City founded in 2003.
