Hunt Corp.
Plainview, NY According to Hunt Corporate Services, Inc., Anton-Cerrone Associates has purchased the 20,200 s/f industrial building located at 205 Express St. for $2.845 million. Aric Schachner of Sperry Van Ness Realty represented the seller. David Hunt of Hunt represented the buyer.
The 20,200 s/f flex building is located off the Long Island Expressway on 1.49 acres. “This is a perfect addition to Anton-Cerrone’s portfolio of more than 700,000 s/f of industrial space throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The portfolio stretches from Port Washington to Ronkonkoma, but at least six of their buildings are located within one mile. A unique feature of this property is the extra land, which allows the development of a high percentage of office or research and development space,” said Hunt. “Anton-Cerrone plans a complete renovation of the exterior and interior of the building, and it will be available for new tenancy by the end of this year.”
When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
