Horst Design Int'l. completes 5 projects

Horst Design International, Cold Spring Harbor, L.I., is involved with the design of several diverse retail and restaurant projects along the East Coast and Long Island  Some of which include: * Nisen Sushi Restaurant, Commack, L.I. - 4,300 s/f family oriented restaurant will now include an expanded, renovated dining room, outdoor dining space, large sushi bar and new storefront.  Currently in design phase. * Speranza Restaurant, Woodbury, L.I. - Renovating the 6,100 s/f former Stressa East Restaurant featuring a new contemporary design.  In construction stage. * Suzette Hosiery, Yonkers, N.Y. - Creating a new modern design in a 1,500 s/f store for this 50 year old lingerie company in the Yonkers Mall. Under construction, it will feature: floating dark wood panel ceilings, lacy design details as well as hot pink, steel & burgundy colored custom fixtures.   * Lakeland Boatworks, Syracuse, N.Y. - The 4,500 s/f showroom in a former bank will showcase: custom, mahogany wood constructed power boats.  Features a central 30 foot round backlit platform for displaying the boats with floating, mirrored panels above to allow prospective buyers to view the interior cockpit of the crafts from any angle.  Currently under construction. *Macy's, Roosevelt Field, L.I. - Renovation of various departments throughout the first floor of the store, totaling about 20,000 s/f.    HDI has been ranked among the top 30 retail design firms in North America.  Credited with over 50 million square feet of successful retail and restaurant imaging projects, HDI has created award winning new facilities and store renovations for all types of product categories.
