White Plains, NY The Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS welcomed Alex Roithmayr as its new Director of Government Affairs. Roithmayr will be responsible for advocacy initiatives for Realtors and homeowners in the New York metro area.
A political strategist and community leader, Roithmayr spent the first seven years of his career in the New York State Assembly, working his way up from the position of Community liaison to Chief of Staff. In 2020, he ran for office in the New York State Assembly.
He later joined the Building & Realty Institute of Westchester & the Hudson Valley as the Strategic Resource associate, where he helped launch the “Welcome Home Westchester” housing campaign. Roithmayr holds a B.A. from Marist College in Poughkeepsie.
