Henderson launches Henderson Capital Advisors

Shaun Henderson, a 40-year veteran of commercial real estate development known for his contributions to Benenson Capital Partners, LLC, has launched his own firm, Henderson Capital Advisors. The firm will provide investors with consulting and advisory services to help conceive and execute asset enhancement programs for office, retail, industrial and multifamily properties. "It has always been my dream to build a company of my own, and follow the inspiration provided by the Benenson Family to create a flourishing company that makes a real contribution to the business and civic worlds," said Henderson. Henderson will serves as director of development and marketing at Henderson Capital Advisors. "I can't wait to put my many years of experience to work for my clients and flex all the real estate muscles I developed at Benenson Capital Partners to create value with properties in New York and around the country," he said. Prior to forming Henderson Capital Advisors, Henderson spent 40 years with Benenson Capital Partners, one of the nation's oldest and most active privately-held real estate investment and development companies. At Benenson, Henderson served as an owners representative, responsible for directing and managing construction of numerous projects. "We applaud Shaun's entrepreneurial spirit and determination to create a company that will showcase his talents," said Richard Kessler, COO of Benenson Capital Partners. "We wish him the very best." Employing the wisdom and experience gained from four decades working at Benenson Capital Partners, Henderson will deliver consulting services that cover all aspect of the real estate capital business - from architecture and construction, to finance, investment guidance, marketing and zoning - for his new venture. The full-service real estate advisory firm is based in New York City, but will have a diverse geographic reach, serving high-rise residential properties in Midtown Manhattan, warehouse facilities in Miami and a range of suburban office buildings around the country. "It has truly been an honor to be part of this historic company and to play a role in helping the Benenson family and its partners make the most of their exceptional portfolio," said Henderson. "The Benensons were kind enough to allow me the opportunity to pursue my dream of being an entrepreneur, and I will forever be indebted to their remarkable guidance."
