The accounting and tax professionals of H.J. Behrman have joined forces with Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP as of January 1. These experienced professionals will further enhance Anchin's position as the leading firm providing accounting, tax and advisory services to the real estate industry.
The merger adds an additional 26 professionals, including three partners, to Anchin's existing roster. Anchin will now have 54 partners and a total staff of over 400 housed on seven floors of its mid-town office.
Both firms are long-time members of New York's professional services community. Anchin was founded in 1923; Behrman was founded in 1910. Behrman's three partners - Howard Krams, Louis Levy, and Neal Klinger - will all join Anchin.
