Located in the Meatpacking District, Inscape's New York showroom is an open space with large windows that maximize natural light. Designed by Studios Architecture, an international design practice focused on enhancing the human experience, the 6,500 s/f space is warm and inviting and showcases Inscape's creative solutions for the workspace.
Inscape's showroom was recently awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Commercial Interiors Gold certification. A variety of sustainable strategies were included in the design of the showroom, including the use of reclaimed hardwood flooring that was refinished; low panels in the workstations to maximize daylighting; and movable walls for space division to reduce drywall waste. Other sustainable strategies included the effective use of energy, lighting, water and materials.
The showroom has been a hub of activity since it opened in 2012. A large open area is ideal for holding receptions and networking events. Inscape regularly holds Workplace Salons that bring together senior industry professionals to debate timely issues such as the "no-work-from-home" memo by Yahoo. The space has also been used for industry events, including a meeting of the Latino American Commercial Real Estate Association, a Design Gym Weekend Workout and other workshops.
Inscape has collaborated with its clients to provide customized solutions for over a century. The showroom showcases diverse products for today's workplace. Inscape's systems, storage and wall products are level and GREENGUARD certified. Inherent in the design of the products are flexibility and durability that minimize impact on the environment. Inscape's latest product introduction is Inscape Bench, a customizable, scalable solution offering the widest range of options for benches. It includes a unique panel-mounted, height-adjustable surface that meets the increasing demand for sit/stand workspaces. Tags:
