Greater New York Chapter of IREM holds 8th Annual Golf Outing; Hosted in partnership with BOMA Long Island
Port Washington NY The Greater New York Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) hosted their annual joint golf outing with the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Long Island this summer at the Harbor Links Golf Club.
Now in its eight year, this successful event is one that is eagerly anticipated by IREM and BOMA members.

Ethics for the Real Estate Manager
Conduct business using the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Resolve conflicts efficiently and ethically. Addressing ethical dilemmas commonly faced by today's real estate managers, this DVD-based course teaches strategies for resolving ethical dilemmas and adherence to the IREM® Code of Professional Ethics, culminating in an exam to earn IREM® credentialing credit.
Topics discussed include: Code of Professional Ethics: Applications to real world situations, ethical duties to clients, tenants/residents, employers, and colleagues.
Ethical decision making: Ethical vs. unethical business practices, tactics for resolving ethical dilemmas, scenarios with ethical implications.
Conflict of interest: Fiduciary relationships, conflict of interest scenarios.
Review of actual ethics cases and their implications
