Greater Buffalo BOMA donates golf proceeds to the Buffalo Zoo

Greater Buffalo BOMA is once again directing proceeds from the annual Golf Outing to a local entity. Funds raised at the event will be donated to the Buffalo Zoological Gardens for the benefit of the new construction projects which are needed for improved conditions for the animals. The contribution will take place at the January chapter meeting, where Donna Fernandez, director of the zoo, will be the program speaker. Visit their website at www.buffalozoo.org. Held since 1993, the Greater Buffalo BOMA Charity Golf outing is a fun event featuring a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffles, various golf games and a lot of very interesting door prizes. Plans are already underway for this year's event, which will take place in August. The program committee for BOMA is working hard developing presentations for upcoming Chapter meetings. Some plans are already in place, and include restoration of a business after a disaster, a Commercial Market Review, Clean Coal Technology, and some building tours of new and refurbished facilities. Greater Buffalo BOMA is a federated chapter of BOMA International, a worldwide business association designed to promote and look after the interests of commercial office building ownership and management.
