Grassi & Co. moves into 2010 and continues growth plan

Grassi & Co. is continuing its growth plan moving into 2010. Three partners - Steven Goldstein, Alan Silverstein and Carmine Minieri have joined the firm, building a stronger base in their Manhattan office. The new partners, formerly of Soloway, Goldstein, Silverstein & Co., bring with them seven additional staff members. As their growth continues, Grassi will now have more than 25 full-time accountants based in their Manhattan office, representing substantial growth as they begin their 30th anniversary year. In addition to the New York City office expansion, Nick Magone, formerly of Couto, DeFranco & Magone has joined the firm, helping to build a stronger base for the firm in New Jersey. In addition to Nick, four additional staff members are a part of the N.J. expansion. "We are proud to have been able to maintain consistent growth for the last few years despite the down economy, thereby allowing us to offer increased resources to our clients," said Louis Grassi, CPA, CFE, managing partner at Grassi & Co. This growth provides the firm with highly talented individuals with experience in a number of key niche practice areas including: real estate, construction, not-for-profit, international, professional services and employee benefit plans.
