GFP Real Estate signs four leases at The Film Center Building totaling 8,546 s/f

Manhattan, NY GFP Real Estate, LLC has signed four leases at 630 Ninth Ave., also known as The Film Center Building, totaling 8,546 s/f.

BOOM Integrated, a media company offering services in public relations, media, branding, image consulting, events and crisis communications, signed a five-year lease extension for its 3,363 s/f office space on the 11th floor of 630 Ninth Ave. BOOM Integrated first moved into the building in 2010. Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, in the transaction; Rico Murtha of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the tenant.

Main Light, a stage lighting equipment supplier, signed a new three-year lease for 1,200 s/f on the ninth floor. The company is expected to move in this April. Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, and the tenant in the transaction.

HealthCourse, Inc., a company that develops highly flexible, cloud-based collaborative educational platforms used by educators and trainers serving the healthcare professional community, signed a new five-year lease for 2,767 s/f on the 12th floor. The company, which moved in this month, will use the space for its general and executive offices. Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, in the transaction; Joel Kubie of Benchmark Properties, represented the tenant.

Folio Literary Management, a literary agency that places both fiction and non-fiction with major publishers throughout the U.S. and around the world, signed a two-year lease extension for its 1,216 s/f space on the 10th floor. They will use the space for its general and executive offices. Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, and the tenant in the transaction.
