Gallagher joins New York Business Development Corp.

Kevin Gallagher has joined New York Business Development Corp. (NYBDC) as a VP, working with the group responsible for providing access to capital for Long Island's small businesses. Formerly of the family-owned Gallagher Associates, Gallagher served as VP of business development specializing in SBA 504, Conventional, IDA, JDA, SBA 7A owner occupied and investor property financing. During his tenure, he arraigned financing for more than $400 million in new long term real estate loans and construction loans. Gallagher was awarded the Long Island Development Corp. SBA 504 Promoter of the Year award in 2002 and the Long Island Development Corporate SBA 504 Dealmaker of the year award in 2008. He received his BA and MBA from Dowling College in Oakdale, N.Y. and his JD from Laurel University. Gallagher is also a New York State licensed real estate broker. "We are excited to have Kevin on the Long Island team," said Pat MacKrell, NYBDC president and CEO. "His years of experience working with Long Island businesses will be invaluable to us as we work to help grow Long Island's small businesses."
