Friedman of Pliskin Realty & Dev. brokers 2 retail building sales totaling $2.24m

Mitchell Friedman, vice president of investment sales at Pliskin Realty & Development (Carle Place, N.Y.), recently brokered two Long Island retail property sales. Representing both the buyer and seller, each a private investor, Friedman sold a free-standing retail building located at 360 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola. The sales price was $640,000. The property will be owner-occupied. Further east in Smithtown, Friedman brokered the sale of a 10,000 s/f free-standing building located on an acre at 222 Jericho Turnpike. The sales price of this building was $1.6 million. Friedman again was the exclusive broker, representing the buyer and seller, private investors. The new owner intends to occupy the space with the exception of the space occupied by an existing hair salon. According to Friedman, both properties are scheduled for major exterior renovations.
