Mitchell Friedman, vice president of investment sales at Pliskin Realty & Development, recently brokered the $825,000 sale of a 6,000 s/f mixed-used building located at 397 Jericho Tpke. Friedman was the exclusive broker for the transaction, representing the seller and the buyer, both private investors. The building, with two floors each occupying 3,000 s/f, houses two office tenants and three one-bedroom apartments.

In another transaction, Friedman, brokered a $925,000 sale of a 4,000 s/f strip shopping center located at 1825-1827 Deer Park Ave., Deer Park, N.Y. Friedman was the exclusive broker for the transaction, representing the seller and the buyer, both private investors.
According to Friedman, the neighborhood shopping center, which recently underwent a renovation, is situated on Deer Park Avenue/Rte. 231, a major North-South thoroughfare in Western Suffolk. He recently closed on two new leases for the center: one store to a three-chain body and nail retailer and a second lease for a new clothing store.
