Foit-Albert Associates, Architecture, Engineering, and Surveying, P.C. has completed the $19.375 million Village Green Townhomes.
This project involved the demolition of an aging, 136-unit, multi-family housing complex located in downtown Glens Falls and the construction of 136 multifamily affordable housing units. The new development also includes two-story townhomes and a three-story building apartment building that will house frail elderly apartment units, community room, leasing office, public laundry, maintenance workshop, mechanical/electrical room, and trash compactor.
"This was a large project with the potential to change a part of the City of Glens Falls for the better," said project manager Peter Signorelli, AIA. "The end result exceeded our expectations. It was a real pleasure to have been part of such an ambitious project."
