Fleetwood Plaza celebrates grand re-opening and three new tenants with ribbon cutting ceremony

Yonkers, NY Royal Properties, held a grand re-opening of Fleetwood Plaza Shopping Center, 850 Bronx River Rd.. Royal Props. Held the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the renovations and welcome three new tenants that are opening for business at Fleetwood Plaza.

Mayor Mike Spano will conduct the ribbon cutting, hand out proclamations to business owners and welcome The UPS Store, Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard and Optimum, who will be officially open for business. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Walter’s Hot Dog truck will serve complimentary hot dogs, fries and soft drinks on behalf of Fleetwood Plaza’s ownership to show appreciation to their customers and the community. Walter’s Hot Dog Truck will be in service between the hours of 12:00 - 2:00 pm.

“We are thrilled to celebrate our grand re-opening and the grand opening of The UPS Store, Rita’s and Optimum, each new tenant compliments the excellent mix of tenants at Fleetwood Plaza,” said David Landes, principal of Royal Properties, Inc.

Fleetwood Plaza is a fully leased, 2-level shopping center located at the intersection of Bronx River Rd. and Midland Ave., alongside the Bronx River Pkwy. and Cross County Pkwy. Intersection. The Fleetwood Train station is steps away and local bus routes serve the area. This center has a new façade, sidewalk and parking lot as well as municipal and street parking. The UPS Store, Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard and Optimum will join CVS, Dunkin’, Subway, Geller Family Dental, Sylvan Learning Center and more.
