FCRC completes five retail leases totaling 21,000 s/f

According to Forest City Ratner Cos. (FCRC), the developer of Westchester's Ridge Hill, five new retailers will be opening at the center in early spring, around the same time as Lord & Taylor which will open in mid-April. They are: Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, White House Black Market, The Limited and Vera Bradley. The tenants will occupy 21,000 s/f. "We are delighted to be adding these five fashion retailers to our already exciting mix of stores which have been drawing thousands of shoppers from Yonkers and throughout Westchester County and the greater metropolitan area since we opened officially in mid-October," said, Kathy Welch, senior VP for retail development at FCRC. "We're confident that these retailers will generate tremendous interest from consumers who are always seeking shopping opportunities in a new and inviting atmosphere." The five tenants wil be located in the Town Square, adding fashion attractions to the already bustling restaurant and children's play area. Previously announced, Brio Tuscan Grille—with its first restaurant in the greater metropolitan area is slated to open March 3rd, and Texas de Brazil, also new to the area, opened last month. Vera Bradley is another first for Westchester County. Their full line of exclusive designs of handbags, travel items, stationary, home accessories, and eyewear are sold through Vera Bradley stores. Joining already opened Yardhouse, Cinema de Lux, Dick's Sporting Goods, Orvis, L.L. Bean, Sur La Table, Whole Foods, H&M, Gap and other nationally-known and unique to the market retailers, these new tenants will continue to make Westchester's Ridge Hill the premiere destination for Main Street-style shopping.
