Fairview Fittings to expand 25,000 s/f at Calamar's Woodland Corp. Center

Calamar recently unveiled the expansion plans for Fairview Fittings and Manufacturing located in The Woodlands Corporate Center. Fairview Fittings and Manufacturing is a Canadian organization and one of the largest international hose assembly companies in the world. In 2001, Fairview Fittings was being lured from other states for their business and considered moving out of NYS for their expansion, but chose Niagara County and The Woodlands Corporate Center for their U.S. headquarters. A 25,000 s/f facility was constructed for this global industry, making Fairview Fittings one of the first clients to establish their business in the center. The Woodlands Corporate Center is located at Shawnee and Niagara Falls Blvd. Success of the park led to the expansion of a 130-acre class A mixed-use park, The Woodands Corporate Center East. That park is comprised of class A office, industrial, flex, senior housing and patio home components. The expansion plans for Fairview Fittings include a 25,000 s/f addition to their existing facility using the CON/STEEL site cast concrete tilt-up method of construction that Calamar has exclusive rights to in WNY and is the same construction method used for their first building. The project represents a $2.5 million capital investment. Construction is expected to begin later this year. "Fairview Fittings is a true leader in its industry and their decision to expand their U.S. market right here in Niagara County is an enormous testament to their commitment to this area," said Calamar president Kenneth Franasiak. "We are extremely pleased that they have elected to expand in The Woodlands Corporate Center, for the success they have achieved and for the opportunity to be part of their future growth."

Tri-state capital migrates nationally amid regulation pressure - by Reese Weaver

New York tri-state multifamily investors are increasingly reallocating capital to less-regulated markets across the U.S. as rent control and legislative risk erode returns at home. The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking
