Extell Development Co. unveils Harlem Headquarters proj.; C&W marketing 441,600 s/f East Harlem office prop.

Manhattan, NY Extell Development Co., a full-service real estate developer of residential, commercial and hospitality properties, has unveiled its first East Harlem commercial development. Branded Harlem Headquarters (HHQ), the new nine-story, 441,600 s/f office building is located at 180 East 125th St. Extell has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to market the class A office building. 

“We’ve been looking to develop a project in Harlem for a long time and now is the time,” said Gary Barnett, charmain and founder of Extell. “We have a world-class team behind this transformative commercial project and are confident it will not only meet but exceed the needs of today’s office tenants.”

Designed by Gensler, HHQ is one of the first new ground-up office buildings in Harlem. With leasing officially commencing this fall, the building offers all the advantages of class A office space in a dynamic neighborhood with valuable incentives, large efficient floor plans, customizable layouts, shared and private amenities, and convenient access to all of Manhattan and beyond.

Situated in East Harlem, a neighborhood that has rapidly expanded into a sought-after area to live, shop and work, HHQ will be marketed to a variety of office tenants including but not limited to government agencies, healthcare and educational institutions, as well as TAMI companies.
