Enella of H2M achieves GIS Cerification

Melissa Enella in the water engineering department at H2M architects + engineers has achieved her Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Certification Enella has been a GIS specialist with H2M since the beginning of 2007 and recently was awarded GIS certification to now make her a Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP). GIS is a collection of computer hardware, software, and geographic data for capturing, managing, analyzing, and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information and also known as a visual or hands-on database. The GISP certification is awarded to those who have met the requirements of ethical conduct and professional practice in GIS by the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI which is comprised of leading non-profit associations focused on the application of GIS and geospatial technology.
