Empire Commercial Construction to complete Mavis Discount Tire store

East Rochester, NY Empire Commercial Construction, a retail-specific division of regional general contractor Taylor–The Builders, was recently awarded the construction contract for the newest Mavis Discount Tire location. Empire is teaming with Pierce Engineering, PC out of Syracuse for design and interior/exterior renovations of the existing building located at 781 Fairport Rd. Construction is underway, with completion in August, 2017.

“Mavis Tire has been expanding rapidly in recent years,” said project executive, Josh Myers. “We look forward to developing this new relationship and exceeding their construction goals as they continue to expand their presence in Upstate New York.”

Originally built in 1991, and renovated in 2004, the 2,650 s/f building on an .84 acre parcel, will undergo an extensive interior and exterior renovation to represent the Mavis brand. The subject is adjacent to Country Club Plaza, anchored by Wegmans Food Markets. The new store will be the 11th location in the local market.

Mavis Discount Tire is one of the largest independent multi-brand tire dealers in the U.S. and offers a menu of additional services including brakes, alignments, suspension, shocks, struts, oil changes, battery replacement and exhaust work.

Empire Commercial Construction, a division of Taylor-The Builders, specializes in quick turn-around new construction, renovations and maintenance for commercial, medical, and retail space across the state. Their project professionals have completed scores of renovations, build-outs and pad locations for premier national restaurants and retailers. They will make sure it’s built right, on time, the first time.
