Empire Commercial Construction awarded contract for construction and project management services for new Subway restaurant
Empire Commercial Construction, a retail-specific division of regional commercial building contractor Taylor-The Builders, has been awarded the contract for construction and project management services for the new Subway restaurant. Empire has teamed with local firm Fenity Associates Architects for design of the new location located at 98 South Ave. in the existing Tops Plaza. Construction for the facility is currently underway with a project completion date slated for this month.
"I am proud to bring the first Subway restaurant location to the Hilton area," said Subway franchisee, Dennis Bates, who also owns the location at 1460 Lyell Ave. in Rochester.
"Subway is the undisputed leader in fast, healthy food. Our easy-to-prepare sandwiches are made to order right in front of the customer, precisely the way they want - using freshly baked breads, select sauces and a variety of delicious toppings. I look forward to bringing another healthy dining option to the local community."
